Navigation Classes
Level 1 Class:
Our Navigation Classes are held in the San Francisco Bay Area on a regular basis.
Do you want to know how to navigate?
Do you want to always know where you are?
Do you want to learn how to use a compass, map and plot UTM's?
Do you want to learn navigation strategy?

As well as instruction and training on navigation techniques and strategy, each student attending
the class will receive the following equipment as part of the course:

Basic Roamer AR navigation tool.  
Brunton G8010G racing compass.  
Local USGS Map for class and practice
Class materials
Competitive Navigation Challenge

The class will cover all aspects of basic navigation required to successfully complete an
adventure race.
Equipment Requirements:  Notepaper, Pencil
Level 2 Class:
Level 2 Navigation Class that will build on the skills and concepts of the Level 1 class.  This class
contains a significant amount of outdoor hands on instruction and practice.
Completion of the Level 1 Class is a prerequisite for attending the Level 2 class.
